Camera Kiss: Italy’s first YouTube-native speed dating format

Camera Kiss is the first Italian speed dating format designed natively for YouTube.

A project that blends entertainment, TV-style pacing, and a digital-first language, created to genuinely work on social platforms — not as a traditional TV concept awkwardly adapted for the internet.

The format was launched by WTLK and QB Entertainment, with support from Wotta in communication management and production support.

What is Camera Kiss?

Camera Kiss takes the classic speed dating formula and flips it into a contemporary format:

  • rapid-fire conversations
  • instant chemistry (or complete disasters)
  • fast pacing
  • zero filters

Everything is designed to entertain, spark conversation, and build audience loyalty — not simply to “document” a date.

It’s not a reality show, and it’s not traditional dating TV.

It’s a format built specifically for YouTube, with timing, editing, and storytelling optimized for digital audiences.

Wotta’s role in the Camera Kiss project

Within the project, Wotta handles:

Communication channel management

  • Definition of the tone of voice
  • Editorial strategy for YouTube and social media
  • Content optimization focused on engagement

Production support

  • Creative support during format development
  • Assistance in structuring episodes and content flows
  • Consulting on publishing and distribution workflows

The goal is not simply to “upload videos,” but to build a recognizable identity capable of growing episode after episode.

Why Camera Kiss was actually designed for the web

A lot of formats are originally created for television and later “recycled” online.
Camera Kiss does the exact opposite.

It was built for YouTube from day one:

  • it speaks the language of creators
  • it thrives on comments, reactions, and shares
  • it works both as long-form content and as short vertical clips

This approach allows the format to:

  • grow organically
  • evolve through direct community feedback
  • adapt over time without losing consistency

A collaboration between creativity, production, and strategy

The Camera Kiss project is the result of a clear collaboration structure:

  • WTLK and QB Entertainment: concept creation and launch of the format
  • Wotta: strategy, communication, and production support

A concrete example of how entertainment and digital strategy can coexist without compromising each other.
